What sets us above the rest? Each one of us understands how hard it is to deal with daily life sometimes because we have faced, and are still dealing with, our own demons and know what helps us to cope through life’s trying times. For people living with a variety of mental health issues, workshops held in large spaces and with bigger groups can be over facing and trigger negative emotions; stifling growth and personal healing. The space we operate in is small, comfortable and not overwhelming. It has been designed specifically for us to tailor experiences to individual needs whether that is small class sizes or one to one sessions.
Outreach - Hands Together
Our outreach program allows us to share our skills and experiences in art and craft, and to work with and help people who may not be able to access the community through traditional means. Those who may be restricted in their activities due to being in a care home, caring for relatives or being unable to travel out of their home environment or indeed living with disability benefit from our outreach program, which has taken us to schools, clubs and care homes to introduce the attendees to a range of arts and crafts which they may not have had the opportunity to explore previously.
