   Miss Match Earrings :

Crafted using traditional hand techniques by Amphigory, from pre loved silver items. These happen to be made from a  vintage sterling silver cricket trophy in fact most of  my makes have had a previous life and could tell a tale or two.  So, highly unlikely I've left items in a high polished finish as i love the mind to wander. That said,  I can and  will if you  prefer a high shine.  Just message me to let me know. X

Inspiration

CIRCLES... Always, always circles! big ones, small ones, kooky ones, knarly ones ~ for me, circles unite.

Nature

I'm forever grateful to be able to dive head first into the great outdoors. It helps rekindle my love for life, treasuring each moment as though it could be my last.
Flowers ~ a symbol of rebirth, signalling, no matter how dark life can get, don’t give up, when the time is right things flourish… Have Patience and hold onto hope.
Turquoise ~ apart from the yummy colour of this soft semi precious stone, my respect for the Native American way of life frequently leads me back to this stone. Which in turn leads me to rainbows… who doesn’t love  seeing them right? Like many natural phenomena there are folklores are aplenty ….bare with … ?
So, Did you know? ~ A popular belief amongst some Native American tribes is, that if you could find the end of a rainbow after a storm, searching the damp earth would yield a turquoise – I guess Leprechauns (oh I have tales a plenty there too) don’t travel well. Don’t know about you but id rather have a lovely stone than a pot of Gold! 

Method:
Traditional hand crafted silversmithing techniques where used from melting scrap silver, LOTS of texturing , polishing and patina to enhance the texture / imperfections.
Materials
Recycled Sterling Silver, Grade A++ Turquoise,
Care Instructions
Avoid direct contact from perfumes and bleach as both with discolour the silver and Turquoise.
Clean with warm soapy water but this will affect any patina added at the time of making.
